Dean Streck Obituary
Dean Herman Streck, 96, of Hesston, Kansas, died March 24, 2025. Born May 5, 1928, in Galatia, Kansas, to Philip and Vera (Steinert) Streck. Baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galatia, Kansas. Graduated from Hoisington High School, St. John's College, Winfield, Kansas, and Wichita State University. US Army Korean veteran serving from 1950-52. On April 29, 1955, he married Betty C. Salley. Employed by Thies Packing, in Great Bend and Wichita.
Survived by wife Betty; daughter, Sally (Dave) Armstrong; son, Steve (Joan) Streck; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leonard.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galatia, Kansas. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galatia, Kansas.
