Dean Thorington Obituary
Dean Thorington, age 64, a lifetime resident of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 12, 1959, to Orville and Lillian (Fischer) Thorington in Gladwin. Dean married Luann "Annie" (Brown) on February 28, 1986, in Gladwin, where they built a life filled with love and memories.
As the owner and operator of Thorington Construction, Dean was known for his hard work and dedication. He loved camping, fishing, and tinkering with various projects. Most of all, he had a deep love for his family.
Dean is survived by his wife: Annie; his children: Andy (Karie) Thorington, Jody (Scott) Card, and Jessica (Larry) Anderson; grandchildren: Eva, Ali, Blaire, Kinley, Mason, Asher, Avanna, Morgan, Raiden, and Zane; brothers: Larry (Cindy) Thorington and Ron (Lucy) Thorington; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Parish St Anne Catholic Church, Edenville, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com.
