Dean Vnuk Obituary

Dean "Dino" Vnuk

May 30, 1958 - August 1, 2025

UNION GROVE – Dean "Dino" A. Vnuk, age 67, passed away after a long battle with cancer on August 1, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 30, 1958, to parents Joseph and Sylvia (nee. Adamczyk) Vnuk. Dean graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1976. He worked as a millwright and retired from JI Case after 30 years. On February 17, 2017, he married his best friend, Jarilyn Pries. With a great love of the outdoors, Dean loved gardening and working with his hands. He was fond of antiquing and enjoyed rooting for the Packers and the Brewers. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and pets.

Dino will be remembered for his bigger than life personality and laugh that could light up a room.

Dean is survived by his loving wife, Jarilyn Vnuk; daughter, Coryn (Matt) Jones; grandson; Dylan Friedl; stepchildren, Morgan (David) Jones and Brock (Nina) Betz; siblings, Paul (Helen) Vnuk, Kathy (Mark) Ignasiak, and John (Marie) Vnuk; father-in-law, Jared (Anne) Pries; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Becky Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
