Deandra Staples

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of DeAndra JaLynn Nicole Clay -Staples, who left us too soon on January 11, 2025, at the young age of 14 years. DeAndra was born to Cecelia Staples and Donsh 'e Turentine on April 22, 2010, in Indianapolis, Indiana. DeAndra accepted Christ at a young age. She was a freshman at Warren Central High School.
DeAndra was the light in our lives. She was filled with so much laughter and joy. "Moo Moo," as we all knew her, was very outgoing and was always ready to be a shining star. Moo Moo was small but mighty with a big heart. Moo Moo was the big sister of 5 brothers and sisters. She was very overprotective of her siblings, and they carried a bond no one could break. At the age of 10, Moo Moo joined the G3 Steppers dance group. Dancing was her passion and there was not a dance she could not do. Moo Moo was a granny 's girl! Nobody could tell her anything about her Nana.
Moo Moo loved dancing, creating TikTok 's, rapping and eating all her favorite foods which included waffles, shrimp pasta and cereal.
DeAndra was preceded in death by her father, Donsh 'e Turentine; great -grandmother, Centrulia Staples; grandfathers, Charles Griffin and Kevin Turentine; aunt, Angela Glover and uncle, Charles Staples Jr.
DeAndra leaves behind her mother, Cecelia Staples; bonus dad, Montrelis Allen; sisters, Diamond Staples, Doniste Staples and Amirah Allen; brothers, Donsh 'e Turentine, Jr. and Quinshaun Tucker; grandparents; Lynn Griffin, Manuel Staples, Gary Franklin and Elnora Allen; great grandparents Charles Staples, Sr. and Helen Smith. DeAndra also leaves behind a host of God siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.
