Deanna L. Burner-Hunt, age 84, of Akron, OH, died peacefully, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Justin T. Rogers Hospice House.
She was born November 24,1939 in Philippi, WV; daughter of the late Floyd and Ethyl (McDaniel) Digman. Preceding her in death on November 17,1983 was her first husband Richard Burner, and on November 20, 2006, her second husband Marvin Hunt. She was also preceded in death by fifteen brothers and sisters: Rosalee, Floyd, Betty, Joan, Tom, Jean, Keith, John, Sherwood, Claudette, Ronald, Milton, Michael, Brenda, and Frankie.
Deanna is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Anne Edge of Bridgeport, WV and Cassandra Burner of Akron, OH; five grandchildren, Rich and Heather Pitzer of Bridgeport, Matthew Burner of Akron, Tiffany Burner of Akron, Brittany and Justin Snyder of Elkins, and Logan Edge of Moatsville,; seven great grandchildren, Richard, Matthew, Mason, Ryan, Lyric, Rhianna, and Jakobi.
Deanna loved reading, puzzles, living life, and more than that, loved visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will hold an intimate graveside service placing her ashes alongside of her first husband Richard Burner in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery in Philippi, WV at a later date.
