Deanna Givens Obituary
She is survived by her daughters, Dannie Sue Arceneaux (Leonce), Donna Gail Boudreaux (Autry), D'Lynn Chiasson (Carl), and Debra McCorkel (Casey); eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Rita Buck (Jeff).
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Daniel E. Givens; parents, William and Ethel Rink; and siblings, Gary Rink and Paulette Rink Givens.
Deanna was the proud owner of Chateau de Phydeaux dog grooming and boarding. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, making porcelain dolls, and spending time with family and friends. Deanna will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Samart Funeral Home in Gray from 10:00 am until services at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
The family would like to share their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Terrebonne General CCU. The family would also like to thank her doctors, Dr. Maidoh, Dr. Frey, and Dr. Chester Boudreaux for their excellent care and compassion.
