Deanna Joyce (Hovis) Regot, 77, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Middletown Baptist Church with Reverend Dick Hinson officiating. There will be a dinner following the service.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

Deanna was born on July 18, 1948 in Grassy, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Alvera (Ossig) Hovis. On September 16, 1977 in St. Charles, Missouri, she married Gary Paul Regot, who preceded her in death on June 29, 2017.

Deanna loved God and was a devoted member of the Middletown Baptist Church since 2001. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she cherished her family, her church family, and her many friends with all her heart. Above all, Deanna was a strong Christian woman whose gentle spirit, generosity, and love for others touched countless lives.

Deanna was a hard worker. She was a gifted beautician and proudly owned Deanna's Beauty Salon in St. Charles, Missouri. After she and Gary moved to Middletown in 1979, she continued pouring her energy into her community. She worked at the Middletown Country Store and served as an Assistant Manager at Hardee's for 16 years in Mexico, Bowling Green, and New Florence. Wherever she worked, Deanna brought kindness and patience.

She loved cooking and baking, and she found great joy in sharing her homemade dishes and treats with everyone. Her greatest happiness came from preparing meals for her beloved family.

Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Wood, Wendy Gipson (Kenny) and Taunya (Hovis) Soles; six grandchildren, Dude Gipson, Spring Lynch (Sean), Tara Calton (Trever), Phillip Alberternst (Veronica), Robert Alberternst (Lexi), and Stephanie Alberternst (Joe Booska); 16 great grandchildren, Emily Boes (Austin), Erin Christian (Josh), Evan Lynch, Ellie Lynch, Ashley Owen (Dusty), Autumn Gipson (Sterling), K.J. Gipson (Morgan), Hayden Calton (Taylor), Hailey Calton, Jaxson Alberternst, Conner Alberternst, Jason Roethler, Greg Alberternst, Maximus Pittker, Legacie Pittker, and Sophia Booska; six great great grandchildren, Huxley, Harlee, Blakelee, Elijah, Deacon, and Lindell; one brother, Curtis Hovis; six sisters, Donna Kidd, Mary Sullivan, Ineta Hovis, Cindy Bryan, Nina Morris, Effie Masters and Pat Reese; and two brothers-in-law, Dean Regot (Noni), and Donny Regot.

She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Rick Weekley; three brothers, Jessie Kidd, Dan Hovis, and John Hovis.
