Deanna Sue (Doug) Wuebben, 59, of Hancock, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on September 24, 1964, in Shakopee, MN, the daughter of the late Daniel and Doris (Kaski) Lee.
Deanna was a graduate of Prior Lake High School. She then moved to Battle Ground, WA, where she was employed by Tapani Underground. On August 27, 1997, Deanna was united in marriage to Douglas Wuebben. They resided in Hancock for the past 26 years.
After the passing of Doug’s first wife Lorraine (Redinger). Deanna raised five young children before having five of her own. She lovingly raised them as one family and will be greatly missed. Deanna was a rock for family and many friends, young and old.
Deanna was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Hancock.
Preceding her in death were her parents, father-in-law: Roland Wuebben, grandson Rudy Simonson and brother-in-law Eric Simonson.
Surviving is her husband Doug, children: Jessica (Steve) Simonson, Melissa (Nolan) Osborne, Derek (Ari), Ryan (Mary), Stuart (Katie), Scott (Lauren), Sanna, Joni, Gus (Gretchen), John (Fiancé Jacey) and her grandchildren. Her siblings, Bev (Iner) Tapani, Lynn (Keith) Schlecht, Nancy (Roy) Broderson, Fawn (Dale) Walizer, Dan Lee, Terry (Siv) Lee, Jack (Kay) Lee, Katherine (Jalmer) Wisti, Jim (Karen) Lee, Scott (Tammy) Lee, JoAnn (John) Ek, Gary (Maria) Lee, along with numerous nieces, nephews cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Hancock on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:00 am Burial will be in the Oskar Cemetery.
A visitation for Deanna will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Hancock and on Tuesday from 10 am until time of services at the church.
