Debbi Smith Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debbi "Bubbles" Smith, age 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, who left this world on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Debbi was a radiant spirit, cherished as a loving wife, devoted mother, adoring sister, proud grandma, and beloved friend. Her laughter was infectious, and her beautiful green eyes sparkled with warmth and kindness. Debbi relished life’s simple pleasures; whether it was biking through the neighborhood, immersing herself in music, enjoying movies, expressing her creativity through coloring, or basking in the great outdoors. She had a special fondness for Florida, where she found joy at the beach, feeling the sun on her face and the sand between her toes.
Born on August 12, 1958, to Chris and Lynda (Moore) Logsdon in Louisville, Debbi's love for animals, particularly cats, was well-known among her family and friends. She leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and compassion that will be felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Debbi is survived by her loving son, Michael (Rebecca) McDaniel; her father, Chris Logsdon; her sister, Lisa Stratton; and her brothers, Michael (Misty) Logsdon and Tony (Stephanie) Logsdon. She will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Chloe (Jose) McDaniel; her grandson, Carter McDaniel; and her great-granddaughter, Deliahla Mattingly. Debbi’s cherished fur babies, Alfred, Sebastian, Dallas, and Brat, along with her extended family and friends, will hold her memory close to their hearts forever.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
In honor of Debbi’s compassionate spirit, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in her memory to the Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville, Kentucky.
