Debbie Carr, 57, of Baytown, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 in Baytown. She was born October 21, 1955 in Orange, Texas to parents, Tom "Babe" Spears and Evelyn Droddy Spears. Debbie has lived in Baytown most of her life. She was a graduate of Lee High School "class of 73" and later went on to complete the Lee College Nursing Program, for her love to take care of others. She currently worked as a nurse in the home health care industry. Her grandchildren were her biggest enjoyment in life. She was an enormous giver to anyone with needs and she reveled in her "family" time. She also was a member at Second Baptist Baytown. Preceding her in death were her father, Tom "Babe" Spears and a brother, Sidney "Buddy" Spears. Survivors include her son, Kody Carr and his wife Laura; mother, Evelyn Merrill; sisters and brothers, Linda Spears, Peggy Ball and her husband Paul, Dwayne Spears and Ken Spears and his wife Shana and grandchildren, Hunter, Kaylin and Denver, all of Baytown. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at Second Baptist Church in Baytown with Rev. Tommy Clements officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521, (281) 422-8111.
