Debbie Lynn Grimm, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on November 17, 1962, she dedicated over 25 years of her career to Great Clips, where her warm personality and humor left a lasting impression on her coworkers and clients.
Debbie was known for her strong and independent spirit, and she brought joy wherever she went. Her funny nature and love for laughter made her a joy to be around. She had a deep passion for her family, especially her kids and grandchildren, who were truly her whole world. Debbie took great pride in her grandchildren: Kaylee, Charlotte, Ezra, Hunter, and Logan. She loved creating memories with them, whether it was exploring the beauty of Hocking Hills or simply enjoying their company.
A devoted Buckeye fan, Debbie's spirit was lifted by her love for sports, as well as her appreciation for comedy, particularly the works of Chris Farley and John Candy. She was also a huge fan of the Wizard of Oz, she could recite the movie word for word. Alongside these interests, she cherished her dogs, including her loving companion Harrison.
Debbie is survived by her loving children Michelle (Wilson) Detty, Tara (Rian) Neil, and Shawn Grimm, grandchildren; Kaylee, Charlotte, Ezra, Hunter, and Logan, former husband Joe Grimm, brother Bruce (Celia) Edgell, her best friend Tracy Morris, and many other friends, family, and coworkers who will miss her deeply.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Edgell, father, Sherman Edgell, grandparents Arvilla and Chauncy Mahon, and brothers Rick Edgell and Eric Mahon, as well as her loving dog, Cesar.
