DEBBIE LEWIS Obituary

DEBBIE LEWIS 06/16/1959 - 08/05/2025 Debbie Annetta Lewis was called to be with the Lord on August 5, 2025 in Dallas Texas. She was born June 16, 1959 in Waxahachie Texas and was the beloved daughter of Allen and Juanita (Dixon) Lewis. She was thoughtful, giving and had her own way of expressing herself with love. In 1977 she graduated from Waxahachie High School. She was awarded the M.E. Singleton scholarship. Debbie attended the University of Denver Colorado where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and graduated with honors August 1981. For many years she had a career in the Insurance Industry. She also taught Writing at a local High School. She was blessed to travel to Hawaii, Switzerland and enjoyed a Caribbean Cruise. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: James Weldon Lewis, George Richard Lewis and a sister Allie Marie Lacey. Debbie leaves to cherish her memory: sisters: Flora Coney, Josephine Lewis-Harris, CL Lewis, a brother Howard Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
