Debbie Manuel

Deborah Francine Manuel, 76, of Lewistown, Montana passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 30, 2024. "Debbie" was born on July 24, 1947 in Lewistown to Marion Everoll and Juanita Delores Heller. She graduated from high school in Lewistown.
On July 5, 1990, Debbie was united in marriage to Ted Robert Manuel. Debbie worked at the Lincoln School as a head cook, and then as head baker from 1990 to 2000. Her true love and passion was taking care of her family and enjoying her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting, drives in the country, reading, rock hunting, and birds (watching and identifying). Her birdwatching earned her the nickname, "Sacajawea Bird Woman". Debbie liked to fish on the Missouri River and she was a good hunter; best in the clan.
Debbie is survived by her children, Ross (Taunia) Berg, James Joseph (Tammy) Berg, and Wendy Marie (Dan) Peterson; grandchildren, Cedessa, Tyrel, Zachary, Zoe, Joseph, Kate, Kathryn, Olivia and James; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Eleria, and Axle; siblings, Dennis (Hellen) Heller, Duane Heller and Penelope "Susie" Balzar; and uncle, Mason Smith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Robert Manuel; and grandchild, Zane Richard Delaney.
Viewing will be at Creel Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, February 1st, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, February 2nd, 11:00 a.m. at Creel Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Winifred Cemetery.
