Debbie Lynn Ponder

Debbie Lynn Ponder age 65, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Debbie Ponder, born July 8, 1960, in Dalton, Georgia, was the beloved daughter of the late Fermon Ponder and Syble Lumpkin Ponder. Debbie's life was filled with warmth, kindness, and a love for simple joys. She found happiness in tending her garden and sharing her passion for cooking with those she loved. Her greatest delight was her family, especially her cherished nieces and nephews, whom she adored deeply.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Tina Ponder.

She leaves behind a devoted family who will forever treasure her memory: brothers, Dana Ponder (Brandi) and Anthony Ponder (Rhonda Brown); sister, Jeannie Crider; nieces and nephews, Tyler West (Melissa), Devon Ponder (Hailey), Haley Ponder (Caleb), Dillon Ponder (Ainslee), Nathanyl Crider (Angel), Alexis White, Adriona Stokes, and Aiden Ponder; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Debbie's legacy lives on in the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the countless lives she touched. Her family and friends will remember her gentle spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from noon until the service hour at Dalton Funeral Home.
