Jerry Lee Wilson, age 87, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Bradley Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 19, 1938, in Sheridan, Missouri, Jerry was the son of the late Donald Wilson and Ester L. Preston. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served honorably as an Army Ranger and carried deep pride in his military service throughout his life.

Following his time in the service, Jerry worked as a bus driver for Cleveland Tennessee City Transportation, where he was known for his friendly spirit and dedication to the community. He had a deep love for people and a remarkable gift for music, playing by ear and mastering instruments including the banjo, organ, harmonica, ukulele, and many more. He often shared his talents with others, performing alongside a group of gentlemen for residents at local nursing homes.

Jerry was a man of many passions. He enjoyed fixing things, writing heartfelt poetry, and held a black belt in karate. He also loved woodworking, often crafting pieces with care and creativity. Above all, Jerry loved the Lord and lived his faith with quiet strength and humility. His creativity, kindness, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Margaret Wilson; sons, Donald (Leona) Wilson and Michael Wilson; grandson, Jacob (Rachael) Wilson; granddaughters, Sarah (John) Arnold, and Kasey Bixler; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Wilson, Destiny Arnold, and Elliott Arnold; and great-great-grandson, Lynkoln Wilson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ross Feller, and sister, Oleva Sink.

A funeral service to honor Jerry's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Keith Street Ministries in Cleveland, Tennessee, with Pastor Anthony Cain officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the service hour. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Jerry will be remembered for his generous heart, musical spirit, deep faith, unwavering love for his family and country, and the Lord.
