Debbie Sapp

Debra "Debbie" Jane Sapp, 69, of Midwest City, passed away on June 13, 2023. She was born on February 26, 1954, in Seminole, Texas, to Delbert and Minnie Heard. Debbie graduated from Del City High School and began her career at Tinker Air Force Base in the 1970's until her retirement in the 1990's. She also worked as a paralegal for various law firms.
Debbie was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Choctaw. She loved God and reading her bible. Debbie was also an avid photographer, traveler, gardener, and scrapbooker. She was very family-oriented and kind-hearted, always open to speaking her mind.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Earl Sapp; son, Steven England and daughter-in-law, Griselda England; daughter, Emily England; daughter, Catherine Bailey and son-in-law, Scott Bailey; mother, Minnie Heard; brother, James Heard and sister-in-law, Peggy Heard; brother, Wayne Heard and sister-in-law, Robyn Heard; sister, Cynthia Kawaykla; 8 grandkids, and 9 great-grandkids.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Delbert Heard, and sisters, Theresa Davies and Sharon Heard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15 from 12pm to 8pm and Friday, June 16 from 8am to 8pm at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 10am at the First Baptist Church of Choctaw with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
