Debbie H. Weaver

Deborah H "Debbie" Weaver 71, of Orrstown, passed away Saturday February 1, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 17, 1953, a daughter pf the late Wallace and Anna Holtry.
Debbie retired from M&T after 39 years of work. After retiring Debbie enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the Shippensburg Lions Club, The Shippensburg Kids Events Committee and the Shippensburg Corn Festival. She was a graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School class of 1972. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and friends, shopping and going out to eat.
Debbie always enjoyed volunteering for many organizations during her life with some of her greatest friends. In her memory, you can make a difference in the community. The Shippensburg Lions Club, Shippensburg Kids Events Committee and the Shippensburg Corn Festival Committee were some of her favorites. They can always use volunteers.
Debbie is survived by her son, James "Jim" R. (wife Jaynee) Weaver of Orrstown; her daughter, Jennifer R. (husband Dick) Perry of Shippensburg; three grandchildren, Lila R. Weaver, Jase R. Weaver and Joshua R. Perry; two step-grandchildren, Keira M. Perry and Chace R. Perry; one sister, Susan Holtry and brother-in-law Lyle Shoop of New Cumberland PA.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard L "Dick" Weaver, who passed away on October 6, 1999; and brother James "Jim" Holtry, who passed away on September 7, 2024.
Though her wishes were not to have a memorial service, there are other ways that you can honor her.
