Debra “Debbie” Sellers Williams, 65, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Born in Cheraw, South Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late Reginald Sellers and Mary Louise Carlson.
Debbie was a devoted member of the Reformation Church, formerly known as the Cheraw Family Worship Center, and a proud graduate of Cheraw High School, Class of 1977. Over her career spanning more than 30 years, she dedicated herself to healthcare, serving at both Chesterfield General Hospital and Cheraw Healthcare, as well as being a substitute teacher in the Cheraw Area Schools.
Family was the center of Debbie’s life; her children and grandchildren were her world. Known for her fierce love and warm personality, she cherished every moment spent with them. Apart from her loving nature, Debbie enjoyed traveling, shopping, and creating joyful memories at the beach or beside the pool.
She is survived by her son, Brice (Kinsey) Williams of Darlington, SC; her daughter, Hanna (Brandon) Russell of Charlotte, NC; and her cherished grandchildren, Tierni Leviner, Mason Leviner, Paislee Leviner, Nova Russell, Gannon Russell, Mavrick Russell, and Brooks Williams.
Debbie's legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched throughout her remarkable life. She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, her step-father, Raymond “Ray” Carlson, a brother, Kenny Sellers, and a grandson, Ryker Manning Russell.
Debbie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 315 Blue St. Darlington, SC from 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM and also from 1:00 PM til 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Amazing Grace Ministries, 211 Hwy 52 South, Cheraw, SC,
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Amazing Grace Ministries, Cheraw, SC.
Memorials can be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
