Deberrah Allred Bryce, a resident of Thatcher, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 29, 2025.
Deberrah was born on June 4th, 1947, in Safford Arizona to Joseph Delbert Allred and Juanita Mae Flowers. She is the oldest of 3 children, Shelly Evans, and Terry Allred. Deberrah didn't have to look far for the love of her life Steve. They were neighbors and friends. They married on June 1, 1966 in the Mesa, AZ Temple just 4 days shy of her 19th birthday. Deberrah was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her whole life. She served others tirelessly until the day she passed. One thing that never wavered in her life was her testimony of Jesus Christ. She loved the gospel.
Deberrah and Steve lived in Mesa, AZ where they started their family. All 4 children were born in Mesa. Recia (Brandon) Squire, Halee (Kevin) Smithson,Brady (Sabrina) Bryce, and William (Stephanie) Bryce. Deberrah loved being a grandmother, having 19 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, with one on the way! Her favorite job in the whole world was being a loving grama and sometimes having to bring out her monster grama side. She was the best grama ever!
For over 25 years the children of this valley woke up to Mrs. Bryce's voice welcoming them to school, and leading them in the Pledge of Allegiance. Her voice will always be remembered. We are so pleased to have shared our mother and grama with the children of this great valley that she called home.
Funeral services for Deberrah will be conducted Monday morning, June 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Paul McMaster of the Thatcher Second Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, June 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Monday morning, June 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
