Debra Lynn Brewton, age 63, of Savannah, Georgia, and a longtime resident of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Gulfport. She was a graduate of Harrison Central High School and remained connected to the Gulfport community throughout her life.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Matthew Brewton and Justin Riojas, and Justin’s husband, Matthew Kearney; Matthew Brewton’s longtime partner, Clea Lauderdale; her brother, William “Billy” Brewton Jr.; her sister, Diane Munger; her nephews, Damien Munger, Andrew Munger (Brittany), William “Bill” Brewton III, and Eli Brewton; and her longtime friend, Samuel Riojas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Barbara Brewton, and her nephew, Michael Munger.
Debra found comfort and joy in reading, watching classic westerns, and creating handmade crafts. She especially loved crocheting and took great pride in the many pieces she made for family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and her deep and abiding love for her boys.
In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
