Debora Louise Wigley

Debora Louise Wigley, born on September 2, 1959, embraced life with an open heart and warm spirit until her passing on September 4, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Debora lived a life rich in love and kindness, most notably demonstrated in her cherished role as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. On October 21, 1988, she exchanged vows with her beloved husband, Buck, in Pryor. Their journey was marked by unwavering affection and mutual support, a bond that served as a beacon of strength for their family and friends. Together, they created a nurturing home, where Debora dedicated herself to her family’s needs, ensuring that love and care blossomed in every corner. Debora possessed a green thumb that mirrored her nurturing nature. She lovingly tended to her plants, allowing them to thrive in her care as she did with her family. Her garden was not just a reflection of her skills but also a testament to her patient and gentle spirit. Traveling with Buck was one of Debora’s greatest joys. From spontaneous weekend trips to meticulously planned vacations, each adventure deepened their connection and added beautiful chapters to their shared narrative. They created countless memories that their family will cherish forever, memories of laughter, exploration, and the joyous experience of discovery together. Family and friends remember Debora not only for her nurturing ways but also for her infectious spirit and unwavering strength. She had the unique ability to make everyone around her feel special and loved. Debora leaves behind the legacy of love, care, and unwavering support that will continue to reverberate through the lives she touched.

Debora is survived by her husband, Buck Wigley of the home; daughter, Angela Wigley of Pryor, Oklahoma; son, Chris Wigley and wife Estefania of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Shiloh Wigley, Attycus Hendrickson, Skyler Wigley, and Aylva Hendrickson; brother, James Jamison and wife Judy of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen (Austin) Jamison, and son, Ben James Long. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home.
