Deborah Carter Ahearn

On Sunday, March 30, 2025 Deborah Sue (Carter) Ahearn passed away at the age of 59. Debbie was born on May 27, 1965 to Ronald and Arlene (Klebanow) Carter. She grew up and lived much of her life in Stoughton, MA, graduating from Stoughton High School in 1984. In 1988 she graduated from Southeastern Massachusetts University with a degree in accounting. She worked many different accounting jobs to pay for her love of life, travel
and sports.
If you knew Debbie, you knew she was a force to be reckoned with. She was the unwavering leader of the family who was hell-bent on protecting what was hers. Family, friends, co-workers and neighbors found comfort and companionship when she was around, but around those with whom she was closest, she could be vulnerable.
She was an avid sports fan, rooting for all the home teams as well as attending games and even the Superbowl! She loved traveling to Europe, Montreal, and all over the United States as long as she could see a game while she was there. She enjoyed partying with friends, especially in Boston.
Her favorite people were her nephew, Maxwell Carter and her niece, Amaya Carter. She was incredibly generous with her time for them. They always knew that they could call Aunt Debbie for anything at any time!
Once she met Gregg Ahearn, her life was complete. They created a family of their dogs, Jack, Taylor (Beans), and Henry, and currently Noah and J.B. They spent many years camping, exploring the area on Gregg's motorcycle and just spending time together. Debbie was even known to travel up to two hours for a burger and fries she saw on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Deb was predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Arlene (Klebanow) Carter, and her brother, Barry Carter. She leaves behind her loving husband of 20 years, Gregg Ahearn. Her brother, Howard Carter and his wife Laine, her nephew, Maxwell and niece, Amaya and her dogs, Noah and J.B. She also leaves behind so many friends and extended family that will miss her terribly.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Schlossberg Family's Chapel on the Hill in Canton, MA followed by burial at Lord Rothschild Cemetery on Baker St. West Roxbury. A shivah will be held immediately following at the Fireside Grille, 30 Bedford St., Middleboro, MA. Shiva house on Thursday and Friday will be at the home of Gregg Ahearn from 4:00-8:00PM.
