Deborah Joyce Bartel, born on October 4, 1952, in Buffalo, New York, peacefully departed this life on December 12, 2025, in Sun City West, Arizona. Deborah’s journey throughout life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family, her community, and her faith.
An esteemed member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Sun City, Arizona, Deborah served dutifully as the administrative assistant. One of her most important roles was as the funeral coordinator, where she provided comfort and assistance to countless families during their times of need. Her compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Deborah’s passion for music was a defining aspect of her life. She found joy in playing the piano and nurturing her love for music. She was a cherished piano teacher which brought her peace and happiness.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce (Bartel) Carson and Jacqueline (Bartel) Sielski, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Diane Warmus, and three cherished grandchildren, Bethany, Julianna, and Benjamin, who were her pride and joy.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Bartel, and her parents, Henry and Bertha Stawicki. Though they are no longer by her side, their memories undoubtedly continue to resonate deeply within the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
As we remember Deborah Joyce Bartel, we celebrate her rich life filled with compassion, love, and unwavering faith. She will be greatly missed but forever cherished in the memories of her family and friends.
