Deborah Boop Obituary
LIMA -- Deborah Boop, 74, passed away on April 24, 2025, at The Springs of Lima.
Deborah was born on October 24, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, to Ralph & Ruth (Caughman) Perrin. On November 15, 2016, she married Roy W. Boop, who preceded her in death on January 31, 2024.
Deborah was a 1969 graduate of Lima Senior High and had worked as a Radiology Technician She was retired from Teamsters #908 where she was the Office Clerk. She enjoyed going to the Eagles Lodge, casinos, and the beach. She liked to read Amish Books and watch the Hallmark Channel.
She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Hunt; son, Richard (Shawn) Conaway; stepchildren, Nolan and Amy Boop; six grandchildren: Ashton, Haley, Mathew, Ashley, Madison, and C.J.; four great-grandchildren: Michael, Julian, Rylen, and Sophia: sister, Shirlee Graham; niece, Nicole Diglia; nephews: Doug, Shawn, Andy, Chad and Danny; great-nephews: Doug, Henry, Gavin, and Collin; great-nieces: Avery, Corrine, and Vivian; special great-nieces: Katie, Abby, Chloe, Mia, and Lexi; and dear friend, Marcia VanHorn.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Waddle.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Mark Lovely will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
