Deborah Kay Brill

Deborah Kay "Debbie" Brill, 62, of Keyser, WV passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Keyser Healthcare Center.
Born on August 15, 1963, in Cumberland, MD, Debbie was the loving daughter of Laura Annabelle (Crabtree) Wolfe of Keyser and the late Ricardo "Rick" Mellon. She also was preceded in death by her beloved canine companion "Molly."
Known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit, Debbie's home was always open for her loved ones and friends, especially her nieces, nephews, cousins and the neighborhood kids. She had an "open door" policy and would never turn anyone away. She loved many craft mediums, including scrapbooking and had a creative eye for repurposing decor and crafts. Her joy was palpable during major holidays when she would decorate her home and join in the revelry of the festivities. Her love extended beyond people to animals, as she was a staunch supporter of the ASPCA, Asher House and I Heart Dogs.
Debbie's professional life was marked by her dedication and diligence. She was formerly employed as a billing specialist with the Imaging Center in Cumberland, MD, where she was respected for her hard work.
Surviving, in addition to her mother are her daughters Amber Agnew and her husband Andy Agnew, III of Burlington, WV and Nicole Mills of Hagerstown, MD; cherished granddaughter, Scarlet Agnew; brother, Ray Mellon of Havensville, VA; sister, Candy Mellon of Keyser; and stepsisters, Sonya Thomas and her husband Jason of Sandston, VA and Heidi Ballard and her husband Brad of Rockville, VA.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 2-4 p.m.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Smith Funeral Home, 85 S. Main Street Keyser, WV 26726 to assist in defraying final expenses.
Debbie's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. Her love for life, her devotion to her family, and her unwavering support for those in need are all testaments to the beautiful and compassionate soul she was. Her memory will continue to inspire those she left behind.
