Deborah L. Collins, 70, of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.
Born on April 27, 1955, in East Liverpool, she was the cherished daughter of the late William and Hazel Rowlands West.
A proud graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Deborah was a devoted entrepreneur who owned and operated her own daycare, later transitioning to a fulfilling career in retail. A stalwart member of Christian Assembly Church in Ohioville, she exemplified the spirit of community by generously volunteering her time at the Salvation Army in East Liverpool. Deborah's artistic soul thrived in crafting; she found joy in crocheting and creating beautiful wreaths that brought warmth and beauty to all who encountered them. Her kindness, boundless generosity, and loving heart made every person she met feel like a friend.
Deborah leaves behind a legacy of love through her adoring children, Michelle Collins, Christopher "Michael" Collins, and John Collins (Linsey Robertson); her beloved grandchildren, Ezius Ashly, Caiden Collins, and John Collins Jr.; and her precious great-grandchildren, Ezia Ashly and Essence Ashly. She also leaves behind her supportive brother, Bill West, and her dear sister, Cindy Miller (Steve Peshek).
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Stephen Moore and niece, Emily West.
In accordance with Deborah's heartfelt wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, honoring the beautiful spirit she shared with us all. She is in the compassionate care of the Arner Funeral Chapel. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Deborah L. Collins, please visit our Tree Store.
