Deborah Lynn Crnkovic

Deborah Lynn Crnkovic, 66, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas.
Born on August 23, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Deborah was the daughter of Loran Frederick Crnkovic and Jacquelyn Helton Crnkovic. She spent her early years in Hemphill, Texas, where she graduated from high school before settling in Bridge City, where she lived for many years.
Deborah worked as an appraiser for Property Damage Appraisers. Her professional dedication was matched by a vibrant personal life filled with music and joy. She had a deep love for singing and music, often sharing her passion with those around her. Deborah also enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, and reading. Her warmth and kindness were especially evident in her affection for children, who were naturally drawn to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Deborah is survived by her significant other, Norman Curry of DeBerry, Texas; her sister, Kellie Obey and husband, Ron, of Magnolia; her nephew, Seth Obey and wife, Victoria, of San Antonio; and her grandson, Braxton Phillips.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas, with Bro. Darrell Segura officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Yellowpine Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Larry Helton, Donnie Helton, Mitchell McMillan, Seth Obey, Braxton Phillips, Ray Sepulvado, Mark Gandy and Paul Fournier.
