Deborah "Debbie" Denise Patterson Warren, 69, of Huntsville, entered the pearly gates of Heaven on Friday, July 19th, 2024, surrounded by her children. Mrs. Warren was a sweet, loving, kindhearted soul. She was a wife, mom, grandmother (MeMe), great-grandmother and sister. She retired from Wal-Mart with 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Reed Warren Sr.; her parents, Willie Kelly (W.K.) Patterson, Sr. and Mildred Ollie Patterson; and grandson, Eden Reed Warren.
Survivors include daughters, Shawna Hillis; son, Douglas "D.J." Reed Warren, Jr. (Hillary); daughter, Brandalyn Fox (John); grandchildren, Curtis Roth, Alyson Fox (Oliver), Gina Whitwell (Chris), Abigail Warren, Colten Fox, Ethan Fox, Austin Fox, and Bryant Fox; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jett Whitwell; brothers, Willie Kelly "Kell" Patterson Jr. (Debbie) and Phillip Patterson; sisters, Beverly Stoll and Vickie Bryan (James); uncle, Charles Patterson of South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Debbie would always tell people "Have a Good Life" in case she didn't see you again. Please cherish people while you can. We are comforted with knowing she is singing, dancing and listening to the best concert she ever experienced in Heaven. Music always spoke to her soul!!
Thank you to the Folsom Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Cullman, Alabama for providing expert, loving care. They really treat their residents with love and compassion.
