Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tabor Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Brighton on Feb. 14, 2025.
Deb was born in Southern California and moved to Colorado shortly after her birth. As a child, she lived in Platteville, Ft. Lupton, and then her family settled in Hudson. She attended Weld Central High School, where she received her high school diploma.
As a young woman, Deb worked as a waitress. Pursuing a career later on as a secretary working for Aspen Wind and Godrey Chiropractic. After surviving cancer, she became a lunchroom lady working for 27J school district until her retirement to care for and raise her Granddaughter Khloe.
Deb Loved her Family. It all started when she met her husband, D.R. Donald Dill, in 1978. They loved to go for a dance down at The Alley Bar in Brighton and travel on his Harley. Deb and D.R. had many friends in the Free Wind Brotherhood. They would ride Harleys and go camping in and out of the state of Colorado, They loved riding with their friends and family.
After her son D.J. and daughter Samantha were born family quickly took over. Blessing her to become a loving, caring, amazing mother and wife. She loved going to football games and ringing her cowbell as loud as she could for her son.
Deb enjoyed sewing and getting together with her girlfriends to play roller hockey at the Wagon Wheel. The passion and love she had for roller hockey allowed her to compete in a national tournament in Oregon. She was later diagnosed with cancer and through the miracle of God and science, she survived. Spending many years enjoying, loving, and caring for her children and grandchildren.
Deb is survived by her husband D.R., son D.J., her daughter Sam, and her grandchildren Khloe and JJ. She is also survived by her sister Becky, and brother-in-law Joe. She has several nieces and nephews, deb loves and enjoys all of her family. She is preceded in death by her mother Delores Cranford and father Jim Carlie. Deb and D.R. are both cancer survivors, Deb would ask you to give to cancer research and charity of your choice in her name.
