Deborah Dominy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Darst Funeral Home on Dec. 22, 2025.
Debbie Dominy passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, following a courageous three year battle with pancreatic cancer. She faced her illness with remarkable strength, grace, and determination, choosing to fight for as long as she was able to enjoy life's good days.
To know Debbie was to know pure love, without hesitation and without condition. She never missed an opportunity to tell those around her "I love you," and she meant it deeply. She understood the value of those words and lived her life with gratitude and purpose. She often shared fond memories of her parents and brother, and through their loss carried a deep appreciation for life.
Debbie shared a close bond with her brother Scott Dominy, her sister in law Lori Dominy, and her soul sister Charla Miller. Their love and companionship meant everything to her. To Debbie, these three hung the moon and the stars.
She deeply loved her nephews Aaron and Brett Dominy and cherished them as if they were her own. Debbie also shared a special bond with Aaron's wife Erin and adored her great nephews Bryce and Kase. Family was always at the center of her life, and she showed up in the ways that mattered most.
Throughout her journey, Debbie was surrounded by a strong support system affectionately known as "Debbie's Village," a community that stood by her even during the most difficult moments. This group was always amazed by Debbie's sense of humor, which remained as strong at the end as ever.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father JB Dominy, her mother Betty Dominy, and her brother Scott Dominy. She is survived by her nephews Aaron Dominy and Brett Dominy; Aaron's wife Erin Dominy; great nephews Bryce and Kase; her sister in law Lori Dominy; and her soul sister Charla Miller.
Debbie's legacy is one of love, resilience, and a life that touched countless hearts. She will be deeply missed.
