Deborah Ann "Deb" "Debbie" Garrett-Thomas, a resident of Henryetta, passed away March 10, 2026 in Tulsa at the age of 54. She was born March 13, 1971 in Bakersfield, California to James Garrett and Ruth Garrett (Marske).
Deborah was raised with a creative spirit and a caring heart. She worked as a cosmetologist and was well known for her artistic talents, including special effects makeup. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, photography, needling, and coloring. Deborah loved expressing herself through art and creativity, and she especially cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Ray Thomas of the home in Henryetta; her children, Linnia Lemmon of Henryetta, Eric Batey of Owasso, Lacy Caron and husband Mark III of Topeka, Kansas, Lindzee Batey of Haskell, Leeza Batey of Weleetka, Laraya Williams of Henryetta, and Emma Garrett of Henryetta; as well as 12 grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is also survived by other relatives and friends including Sherri Evola, William Bische, William Padilla, and Scott, along with many extended family members and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Garrett, and her grandparents, Ida Fields, Toby Fields, Faye Garrett, and Claude Garrett.
Deborah will be remembered for her creativity, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Viewing for Deborah will be 1pm until 7pm, Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Integrity Funeral Service.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Integrity Funeral Service.
