Deborah Gladney Obituary
COEYMANS HOLLOW – Deborah A. Gladney, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 12, 2024. She was born June 3, 1951, daughter of the late Clarence Eck and Dorothy Mooney. Deborah was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gladney. Debbie loved her family. She was a great mother to her daughters and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters; Deborah Michelle Oravsky of Idaho and Melissa Oravsky of Selkirk; grandchildren, Monique Oravsky of Delmar, Dillion Lawson of Idaho and Overia Alexander of Delmar; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Gardy and Matilda Bertran. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Debbie was my upstairs neighbor for a couple years. She and Ed were great neighbors and I've missed Ed, and just now realized that Debbie was gone as well. So sad to hear about this. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I remember when Monique (their Granddaughter) would come and stay with Ed and Debbie ... her bike was stolen, and Ed found out it was someone from a party the other neighbor of ours had (it was a 3 unit apartment house) that took the bike. Well, Ed put the "Fear of God" in this kids heart, and he wound up buying a new bike for Monique. She was such a nice kid, and Ed and Debbie did a great job as Grandparents in caring for her on occasion. I miss them both!
