Deborah Sue Guptill, 78, of Lampasas, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11 am with visitation an hour prior. The family requests casual attire.
Deborah was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to Jack Mump Freeman and Nadine Alley (Kunkel) Freeman. For many years she worked as a mail carrier for USPS in Gatesville and was the very first woman to do so there. She also was employed with Head Start and obtained many certifications there. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, and traveling with her husband, especially in their RV. Deborah also enjoyed being involved in the church choir and was music director at Second Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Freeman.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Robert Guptill, and her daughters, Joanna Guptill and Kathleen Vercele.
