Wyatt L. Guptill, age 25, Ashby, MA
On December 26th we lost a beautiful, gentle soul. Wyatt grew up in Ashby with a love of the outdoors, trucks, four-wheelers, snowmobiles, cats, and “old stuff.”
He graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in 2018. Through the school’s Vocational Programs, he worked at Desilets Auto Repair and remained with them as a full-time mechanic. They became a second family to him. He had a close group of friends he loved to be with, and many memories were made at the “garage”.
He leaves behind his mother, Lisa Hjelm, stepfather James Boardman, brother Michael Boardman, and his wife, Ashley. Cousins: Cody Hjelm and Krystal Hjelm; grandmothers: Charlotte Hjelm and Nancy Derby; and a wonderful extended family.
He was predeceased by his father, John R. Guptill.
Calling hours will be held at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats, https://catsontheweb.org/
