Deborah Hatch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brownlie & Maxwell Funeral Service & Crematory on Dec. 15, 2023.
Deborah (Debbie) Francisco Hatch passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 70. She was born on November 1, 1953 to Arnold Francisco and Betty Evans Francisco in Charleston, West Virginia. After moving to Melbourne, she graduated from Melbourne High School and Brevard Community College.
On May 6, 1972 she married her soulmate and was the beloved wife of Mark Hatch for 51 years. Together they ran Croton Nursery for 25 years, after which she worked for Dr. James Cobb and then in the accounting and missions departments at Calvary Chapel Melbourne.
In 2020, Debbie was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and was cared for at home by her devoted husband, Mark, until her passing. She was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Betty Francisco, her parents-in-law Monroe and Elizabeth Hatch and her brother-in-law Robert Hatch.
Debbie is survived by her husband Mark; her brothers Darren and Derrick Francisco of Melbourne, and her "adopted family" Rachel and Dante Vivar and their sons Sean, Timmy, Benjy and Levi of Lima, Peru.
Above all, Debbie believed in, trusted and loved Jesus Christ. She was a faithful student of God's Word, served her Savior faithfully in many capacities and loved to talk with and teach people about the Gospel. Debbie was known for her cheerful disposition, quick mind and ready smile, along with her positive and compassionate attitude.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Debbie's memory may be given to Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation, 4676 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida 32935.
Please read these promises from God –
1. Jeremiah 29: 11-13
2. Psalm 63: 5-8
3. Revelation 7: 15-17
If you are reading this today and do not know Jesus Christ as your personal savior, Debbie invites you to make the best decision of your life.
Recognize that you are a sinner, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
Know that Jesus Christ went to the cross for you and me. He paid the price for our sins
Repent and change direction in your life. Be led by Jesus. He will direct your ways so that times of refreshing and peace may come from His presence.
Now receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. Jesus is out rock and our salvation. Trust in Him for He is our refuge in times of trial. He has promised us the gift of Heaven, and has a beautiful, wonderful place prepared for us to be with Him in Eternity.
This is what Debbie lived for. Jesus is what gave meaning to her existence. The Lord used her to bear much fruit and is continuing to use Debbie this very minute. Please consider this invitation and come to Jesus right now. Thank you for allowing Debbie to tell one more person about her Lord Jesus Christ.
Love and prayers,
Mark and Debbie

I have so many wonderful memories of Debbie, too numerous to put here. But over all...Debbie imaged Her Savior well. Jesus shone through her in so many ways. She was always a faithful friend, one that listened well, and spoke into you with the wisdom that she gleaned through her relationship with Jesus, and life experiences. She loved to laugh, and fellowship, she was genuine and a very trustworthy friend. She adored Mark and was so thankful for their marriage and their walk together with their Savior. If Debbie was your friend, you were a blessed person. The fact that she is with Jesus, whole and finally complete, is what is soothing to our hearts and heals our sorrow of missing her...and we will be seeing her again

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch.
We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye
but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived ... and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Thank you for the opportunity to share a love for Jesus like no other and, to change lives, one person at a time. To cry, laugh, encourage, comb each other's hair, wash each other's feet, get down and get dirty, get up and get clean, God-sipping moments of love, grace and mercy. For loving this girl like Jesus, thankful for the Hope of Heaven, see you soon!

I have so many memories with this amazing woman of God. The majority are wonderful, and a few are hard and sad. Yet, during the worst of times, we saw the best of Christ in Debbie Hatch. She reached down deep and appropriated the peace and grace of God, and He was s glorified. She will be greatly missed, because she was greatly loved. Mark you are an awesome man of God and you are on our hearts and in our prayers daily. We love you!

Debbie was always so much fun to be with. She had a great sense of humor. One of my best memories was the weeks vacation her, Lynn, and I spent together gallivanting each day. It was very memorable. I will miss Debbie terribly, and am happy she was part of my life. She represented her Lord and Savior very well.
