DEBORAH HENSLEY

Walhalla – Deborah Kay Hensley, 65, loving wife of Robert Leon Hensley, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 20, 1960, in Woodstock Illinois, Deborah was the daughter of the late RV and Nellie Graves Green. Deborah was employed with Nason, where she faithfully served as an assembly worker for many years. She found great joy in cooking and baking for her family and friends, often expressing her love through the meals she prepared. Above all, Deborah cherished the time she spent with her beloved grandbaby, who brought immense happiness to her life. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Deborah is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Hensley; daughters, Alicia Morgan (Richard), Latisha Hensley; brother, Larry Green; sister, Sandra Malinowski; and her pride and joy, her granddaughter, Abigail Hensley.

In addition to her parents, Deborah is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Green and Dennis Green.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 20, 2026, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with entombment to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
