Deborah Herod Obituary
Deb was a graduate of Westerville High School and received Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the Ohio State University.
In 1989 she began work at Defense Logistics Agency Land & Maritime (DLA). Deb was beloved by her many friends and co-workers, providing expert technical advice and programming support for DLA's procurement and automated contracting systems. She retired in 2016 after receiving many awards and accolades from senior leadership, which were a testament to her hard work and creativity.
During retirement, Deb pursued her interests in in history and politics. Always committed to social activism, she continued to be involved in causes important to her at local, state and federal levels. Deb's devotion to her dogs was a constant and filled her life with love.
The family wishes to especially thank her devoted friends for their caring and kindness.
Private cremation arrangements with COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME and burial with family at Blendon Central Cemetery.

My deepest condolences on the loss of Deb. She was truly an incredible friend and human and I will deeply miss Deb and her friendship. Deb´s love for Arya and Max was beautiful and unconditional. They brought her so much joy and happiness. Her voice always lit up whenever spoke of them. May Deb´s memory forever be a blessing to all her who loved her.
