Deborah Ann Hines, a compassionate and inspiring beacon of faith and love, passed away on February 3, 2025. Born in Orange, Texas, USA, on September 9, 1951, Deborah, fondly known as Pastor Deb, dedicated her life to the spiritual nurturing and upliftment of her community. Her loyalty to her calling was evident not only in her co-founding of the Horizon Worship Center, Inc. of Austin, Texas with her late husband, Apostle B.W. Hines, but also in the numerous initiatives she founded over the years. Her loving spirit will be deeply missed.
Deborah was a retired Postal Worker from USPS and a proud member of the Zeta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated since 1972. Besides her inspiring work in ministry, Deborah was known for her love of Rummy 5000, a hobby she enjoyed with family and friends. Her residence in Round Rock, Texas, was a testament to her vibrant and loving nature. Pastor Deb's favorite saying was, "I love you with the love of the Lord," a phrase that encapsulated her abundant love for her immediate family, church family, friends, and all she met.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Williams and Otha Lee Forward, daughter, Deitra Williams, her brothers, Rev Tommy Sr., Wesley, and Rudolph. Deborah's legacy lives on through her daughter Neitra White. Her grandchildren Raegan Smith, Joshua Ford, and Jordan Williams a host of neices, nephews and spirtual daughters.
In the words of Psalms 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." As we mourn our loss, we also celebrate the life of a woman who embodied this verse in all her deeds. Deborah's Homegoing Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 9:30 am MST. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm CST at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 14501 North Interstate Highway 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660.
We encourage those who knew and loved Deborah to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page. Your stories will help keep the spirit of this inspiring and loving woman alive in our hearts.

I was so sad to see this. We know she is present with the Lord. Praying for the family and church family. She will definitely be missed, but never forgotten.
