Deborah Faye Jones

Deborah Faye Fuller Jones, 71, of Big Sandy, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, while visiting her daughter.

Born on August 11, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Willie Mack and Hilda Fuller, Deborah lived a life devoted to faith, family, and service. She married Ronald Jones in 1972, and together they shared forty-one loving years of marriage until his passing in 2013.

A graduate of Northwestern State University, Deborah dedicated her career to nursing, finding her calling in dialysis care as a peritoneal dialysis nurse until retiring in 2009. She then faithfully cared for both her husband and her mother during their final years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her granddaughter, Hailey Grace. She is survived by her loving family, including her daughters and their spouses, Lonnie and Carrie Henry, Jim and Katie Gentry, and Scott and Kimberly Loven; along with her cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Deborah will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose kindness and love touched all who knew her. She cherished her family, treasured the laughter of her grandchildren, and embraced the simple joys of life. Her gentle spirit, deep faith, and unwavering love leave a legacy that will be forever treasured in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation will be held on October 4, 2025, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Mattox Cemetery in Diana, Texas, beginning at 12:00 PM.
