Timothy “Timmy” Wayne McHenry, a free-spirited soul with a heart of gold, peacefully departed this life on December 4, 2025, in Livingston, Texas. Born on October 27, 1957, in Gilmer, Texas to Otis and Tommie Burns McHenry.
Timmy was known for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a good-hearted man, always putting the welfare of others before his own.
His enthusiasm for life was evident in his variety of interests, from fishing to riding his cherished Harley Davidson, and visiting casinos, activities that highlighted his love for adventure and the outdoors.
Timmy is survived by his son, Otis McHenry and wife Courtney of Gilmer; daughters, Tiffany Lott and husband Johnny of Livingston, Madelyn McHenry of White Oak and Jennifer Knight of Gilmer; brother, Ronnie McHenry of Gilmer; sister, Barbara Sanders of Gilmer; 10 grandchildren, Pamela Lott, Hayden Lott, Makayla McHenry, Brailyn McHenry, Makenzie McHenry, Tori Jackosn, Kaylie Jackson, Guy Jackson, Aaliyah Johnson and Aniyah Johnson; along with 14 great grandchildren, Camden, Maisie, Mason, Atlas, Oaklynn, Justyn, Coulter, Pasley, Scarlett, Evelynn, CeCe, Autumn, Kartyr and Harpyr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randall McHenry.
Pallbearers are Fred Betterton, Mike Pritchett, Hayden Lott, Brailyn McHenry, Nicholas McHenry and Neil McHenry.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM, also at Croley Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
