Gordon McHenry Obituary

Gordon McHenry, 73, of New Haven, passed away on February 2, 2026, He was born on August 21st, 1952, to Gordon and Irene McHenry. He was a member of American Legion Post 31. He worked as a Heavy Machine operator and Dump Truck Operator for over 40 years. Gordon enjoyed playing golf and being at the lake with his family. Gordon was preceded in death by his Father, Gordon McHenry and Mother, Irene (Witte) McHenry. Sister Diane Hook, Brother-in-law, Mike Hook. Mother and Father-in-law, Walter and Ruth Brandt. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy McHenry; Sons, Adam and Drew (Jamie) McHenry of New Haven. Grandchildren Brody, Lucy, Brooklyn, and Stella. Siblings, Dan (Joan) of Arizona, Dave (Jeanne) of New Haven, Doug (Renee Bodkin) of Angola, Dennis (Angie) of Auburn, Sue Klotz (Dennis Kummer) of New Haven and Brother-in-law Wally Brandt. A service will be held on Tuesday, February 17th at Midwest Funeral Home, 1415 W. Coliseum Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN, 46808 at 5pm with a visitation 2 hours prior.
