Deborah Kaye Sharp, 69, of Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her sister's residence in Summerville.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10 o'clock at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 720 Telfair St., Augusta, GA 30901. Rite of Committal with Final Commendation will follow at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Rd., Augusta, GA 30904.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Breast Cancer research at www.cancerresearch.org.
Deborah was born on September 10, 1952 in Fort Jackson, SC, daughter of the late George Preston and Ruby Pearl Sharp. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Augusta, GA. She loved to sew and make crafts.
Survivors include: sister, Brenda Papineau (Larry) of Summerville; two nieces: Chrissy Papineau of Summerville and Nancy Taylor of Moncks Corner; and two great nephews: Jaymes Taylor and Michael Koon both from Moncks Corner.

Sorry to hear about Debbie´s passing. She was a member of my Sun school class years ago. She was a very sweet person. I know she will be missed by her family & friends. May God give the family peace & comfort during this time.

Debbie was a Gift from God.She was one of a kind.She loved God and shared his love to many people.Many of us could count on her prayers.If she told you she would pray for you or a prayer for someone else you knew you could count on her.She was a true Friend that i called Sister.To have a Friend like Debbie was an Honor.She will be missed but i know i will see her again soon.Just wish we could have had a chance for one more trip to the Beach.She loved the Beach so much.It's the happiest i ever saw her.She loved the peace we found as we walked on the sand.We also walked out on the piers and just sat and talked.Then we went to eat Seafood there on Tybee Island.She loved every bite.RIP my Friend till we meet again.I Love you . You will be in my heart forever.
