Deborah J. Krugman

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Deborah J. Krugman (nee Gregg), who left this world peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 56 years old.
Born on March 6, 1969, in Lorain, Ohio, Deborah was the beloved daughter of Chris and the late Barbara (nee Glick) Gregg. She was a proud graduate of Admiral King High School, Class of 1987, and continued her education at Bowling Green State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in marketing. Driven by a passion for teaching, she later pursued her teaching certification through the partnership program of Lorain County Community College and Ashland University.
Deborah found her true calling in the classroom, shaping young minds as a devoted first-grade teacher at Westwood Elementary School in Wellington. She was known for her patience, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her students.
Beyond her career, Deborah cherished life's simple joys-long drives, traveling to the beach, and making magical memories at Disney. She had a warm and genuine spirit, a bright smile that could light up any room, and a steadfast faith in God. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and her greatest joy came from the time spent with her husband, daughters, and loved ones. Her daughters, Olivia and Gabby, were not only her pride and joy but also her best friends.
Deborah is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Kevin Krugman; her beloved daughters, Olivia and Gabby; her father, Chris Gregg; and her brothers, Chris and Tony Gregg. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Barbara Gregg.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Deborah's life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral center, with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
