Deborah L. Kubisz (nee Vargas), born on September 16, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home in Hegewisch on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Deborah was a wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and a loyal friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Kubisz, who stood by her side all of life’s triumphs and challenges. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. Deborah took great pride in her role as a mother to her daughter, Rachel Kubisz, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment that shaped Rachel into the remarkable person she is today.
Deborah also leaves behind her sisters, Barbara (Jack) Kalemba, Laura (Charles III) Wurl, Linda (Phil) Mance and Gail (Ron) Lindemann with whom she shared many joyful memories. Her network of friends included her best friend Jill (Mike) Jaksich, who brought additional joy and companionship into her life. As an aunt, she was adored by her many nieces and nephews, who will forever remember her kindness and warmth. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Victor F. and Marion A. Vargas who provided her with a strong foundation of love and support throughout her life.
In her leisure time, Deborah was known for her passion as an avid fan of both the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. Her spirited enthusiasm for these teams brought her joy and excitement as she cheered them on, showcasing her deep-rooted love for her hometown.
Deborah L. Kubisz will be remembered for her generous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the unbreakable bonds she nurtured with family and friends. Her legacy of love and passion will endure through those she leaves behind.
