Lee, NH – Deborah "Debby" (Alessi) Lombardo passed away on August 8, 2025, just one day before her 75th birthday. True to her wishes, she was at home surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Portsmouth, NH on August 9, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Rowena (Furey) Alessi. Debby was hard-working, fiercely independent, and never afraid to speak her mind. Her sassy wit and warm smile could light up any room. Whether knitting scarves and making jewelry for family and friends, tending to her garden, or crafting memories with her grandchildren, Debby approached everything she did with love and creativity. She was a proud and caring mother, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with the grandkids-watching them laugh and grow "so tall."

She is survived by her daughter, Rebekah Lombardo, and her husband, Nathan Miner, of Lee, NH; her son, Nicholas Lombardo, and his wife, Jordan Cocchiaro, of Durham, NC; and three beloved grandchildren, Natalie Miner, Luna Miner, and Colin Lombardo. She was predeceased by her lifetime companion, Paul "Rollie" Beane.

"Be courageous and be brave, and in my heart you'll always stay-forever young."

SERVICES – A private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in New Castle, NH. Arrangements are in the care of the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home – Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth, NH. For online condolences, please visit www.jvwoodfuneralhome.com.
