Deborah Mayer Obituary
Deborah was born on September 26, 1953 to Louie and Kathleen (Yearian) Casey in Murphysboro. She married Bob Mayer on January 9, 1971 in DeSoto.
Deborah is survived by her husband Bob, son Michael Mayer, daughter Lacie (Russell R.) Mayer, grandson Justin Mayer, brothers Dennis Casey and Pat (Jeanne) Casey, sister Iris (Jim) Speith, and her beloved dog Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Deborah was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. She enjoyed life along with motorcycle racing. She was always a supporter of her friends and family. She was a good person who will be dearly missed.
Funeral Service for Deborah will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Meredith Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Darnell officiating. Burial will follow at Lipe Cemetery in Makanda. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
