Deborah Ann McCool

Deborah McCool (Deb), 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Berkshire Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was surrounded by her children, Casey and Sunny, who meant the world to her and will miss her always.

Deb was born in Salem, Oregon, on August 25, 1959, the daughter of the late James Francis Wright and Ona (Schall) Wright.

Deborah had a unique, stubborn, and sarcastic sense of humor but also a warm spirit. She had a deep love for animals and nature and found her peace living in the woods with her partner, Frank Garcia, who recently passed away a month earlier on January 28, 2026.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Casey and Sunny; her sisters, Sandra and Leona; her "number two" daughter and son-in-law, Alycia and CJ; and her cherished grandchildren, Dracen, Cornelius, and Althea. She will also be missed by extended family and all who knew and loved her.

In keeping with Deb's wishes, there will be no funeral services. In her memory, those who wish may make a donation to a local animal shelter in her honor.
