Patricia May "Pat" McCool

1938 - 2026

Patricia "Pat" May (Foulkrod) McCool, 87, of Brookville, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.

Born May 2, 1938 in Brookville, she was the daughter the late Jesse Edward and Letha Roberta (Wolfe) Foulkrod.

She graduated from Brookville High School with the Class of 1956.

Throughout her life, Pat was a homemaker and mother to her precious family. Later in life she worked as an insurance agent for Carrier Insurance in Summerville.

Patricia married her beloved Russell Reid McCool on July 19, 1958, at the Hazen Methodist Church. He preceded her in death. For more than 51 years, the couple lived a life of love and companionship as they raised their children together.

Patricia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Summerville, where she also served as the church treasurer for many years.

Patricia enjoyed baking cookies and bread for family and friends. She played in a card club where she found joy in being social.

Throughout her lifetime, Patricia was a source of joy and comfort to her family. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she cherished moments with her loved ones, always valuing the time they shared together. Patricia will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Survivors include three children, Virginia (Bill) Molinengo of Brookville, John (Lori) McCool of Russell and Dave (Virginia) McCool of Sarver; seven grandchildren, Katie Molinengo, Lisa Molinengo, Jessica (Levi) Hetrick, Jacob McCool, Jackson McCool, Connor McCool and Quinn McCool; one great-grandson, Aiden Hetrick; and one brother, Frank Foulkrod; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Russell, Patricia was preceded in death by three brothers; James Foulkrod, Larry Foulkrod and Raymond Foulkrod.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carrier Funeral Home, located at 2834 Maplevale Road in Brookville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the funeral home, with Pastor Dianne Hetrick officiating.

Interment will take place privately at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the Summerville United Methodist Church, 154 W. Penn St., Summerville, PA 15864.
