Deborah Lynn Michnick of McKinney, TX, age 69, passed away on 12/11/2025 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 7, 1956 to David Moser and Mary McLeod.
Deborah’s first passion was public service; she served her community as a police officer and in animal control. She later retired as the manager of the Allen Animal Services in July 2025. She tirelessly dedicated herself to helping people and animals who were less fortunate and to ensure that all animals were able to go to a good home. She made a lasting positive impact to so many members of her community, both human and animal.
Her second passion were her horses and her “stable family”. She loved to care for and ride horses. She had many horses throughout her life in which she loved to ride and show. She often said, “happy people are stable people”. When not at the stable, she loved spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren. She found so much joy in watching her grandchildren grow and flourish.
Deborah was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert Michnick, her parents, David and Mary Moser and her brother Patrick Moser. She is survived by her sons, Aaron, Stuart and Samuel Michnick, her daughters-in-law Paige, Amber and Daisy Michnick, and her grandchildren, Aria, Alana, Paxton, Brixton and Luka Michnick. She is also survived by her brother Mac Moser and her sister-in-law Laura Bryant.
