Deborah Moreci Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cypress Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Jan. 28, 2026.
Debbie passed away Tuesday, January 27 after a very long battle with COPD.

Debbie was born in San Francisco California to the late Robert H Moreci and Nadine L Price. She graduated from Burlingame high school in 1977 where she played clarinet and was in the marching band. During her high school year, she was a Fotomat employee working at the kiosk in the Safeway parking lot in Foster city. After graduation, she went on to work for Prudential insurance processing medical claims. She soon became part owner of Polk Vallejo Market with her late father Robert and brother David.

After Robert decided to retire and close the store, Debbie went on to work for Safeway where she met many new friends. With these friends, she enjoyed many things in her adult life. She enjoyed ceramics, crochet , needle point, theater and foreign soap operas. She also enjoyed museums and going to Golden Gate Park and going for long drives. She also loved to travel, although her time traveling was limited. She did manage to go on an Alaskan cruise with her grandmother and some camping trips in her RV.

Debbie is survived by her brother David Moreci, wife, Lisa Moreci and their children Tony Gino, Sara and Christopher. Also survived by her sister, Diana Moreci, and her children, Stephanie, Katherine and Sidney. Debbie became a great aunt to six children , Jackson, Valentina, Vito, Viviana, Julian and Bryson. Debbie had wished to be cremated and has had her ashes spread at sea.

A memorial service will be March 28, 2026 for close family, and friends. Debbie had a great love for her two black cats and memorialized them in statues
